Energy nodes

What are energy nodes?

Energy nodes are metering and control devices that reside in or behind the cable management products in the building such as floor boxes, perimeter wall trunking, desk modules, power poles and sockets. They effectively sit behind every socket that is to be managed by the system.

They fit in line with the electrical and IT networks and deploy the energy saving policies at socket level. They switch power on and off on demand and meter the energy consumed through the socket.

Our energy nodes also include EMI filtering as standard to ensure there is no noise generated on the system and surge protection (specialist unit), for additional protection of electrical equipment such as PCs, photocopiers, printers etc.

Who can install the energy nodes?

The energy nodes have to be installed by a registered electrician who has received the relevant training from Marshall-Tufflex Energy Management or their partners, or who is employed by a certified framework provider.
